Focus (“Focus”, “we”) is a Chrome extension for RSVP reading, operated by [legal business name], located in [jurisdiction]. This website provides information, policies, and support for the extension; there are no accounts or reading features on the website itself.

These terms govern your use of the Focus Chrome extension and any related subscription. Installing Focus also means agreeing to the terms of the Chrome Web Store, and signing in means following Google’s terms for your Google account.

If you subscribe to Focus, payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms.

Focus uses Google sign-in for account identity. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for the activity that happens through it in Focus.

Focus is free to use up to 50,000 words per month. The optional Supporter plan provides unlimited monthly reading, with the same product features as the free plan. The available prices are $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. If you subscribe:

• payments are billed through Stripe;
• your subscription renews at the selected monthly or yearly interval until you cancel;
• you can cancel at any time through the billing management link in Focus settings, and your unlimited allowance remains active until the end of the current billing period;

Focus does not store your payment details. Payments — including disputes and chargebacks — are handled by Stripe.

The free plan includes up to 50,000 words per month. The Supporter plan has unlimited monthly reading. Usage is measured in words read per calendar month. Usage accounting reports word counts and the identifiers needed to process them — not the text you read.

When the free monthly limit is reached, reading pauses. It can resume when the allowance resets or a Supporter subscription becomes active.

Focus is provided as-is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, limit, or discontinue parts of the service over time. Extension updates are delivered through the Chrome Web Store.

If something in the service changes in a way that materially affects your subscription, we will communicate that through the extension, the Chrome Web Store listing, or this website.

The Focus name, extension, and website are owned by [legal business name]. Text you read with Focus belongs to its authors or rightsholders; these terms give you no rights over it, and Focus gives you none beyond reading it.
